The Dojin Japanese Arts Society

Participant Image

The Dōjin Japanese Arts Society is dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities to experience and learn about the traditional arts of Japan in contextualized ways. Since 2023, Dōjin Arts has brought together experts across a wide range of Japanese traditional arts to host programs throughout the Lower Mainland which have included topics such as incense ceremony, tea ceremony, ceramics, dance, garden design, floral arrangement, festival performance, traditional sewing techniques, food culture, and more. Whether through hands-on workshops, deep-dive lectures, or immersive experiences, our aim is always to offer audience members and workshop participants a deeper understanding of the broader aesthetics, history, and cultural values that connect us. You can read more about the society and upcoming programs on our website.
