Sakura Days Japan Fair
ABOUT US
Japan Fair Association of Vancouver is a 100% volunteer run not-for-profit society registered under the British Columbia Societies Act with the mission to showcase Japanese Culture and Japan-Canada communities to the Canadian community at large to facilitate better understanding and build relationships, and to work in conjunction with member organizations to achieve the goals of the society.
Japan Fair Association of Vancouver presented the first Sakura Days Japan Fair in 2009 at VanDusen Botanical Gardens, and it is a vibrant two-day celebration of Japanese culture held annually in April each spring. The event brings together the rich traditions of Japan, including authentic cuisine, music, dance, arts, crafts, and a variety of family friendly activities. With a focus on the beauty of cherry blossoms and Japanese springtime festivals, Sakura Days Japan Fair offers a unique opportunity to explore and experience Japanese culture through interactive exhibits, performances, and workshops. Come see where Vancouver Meets Japan!
