Cocoaro Craft Chocolate



Cocoaro Craft Chocolate is chocolate with good heart. Currently still a solo business of Japanese-Canadian chocolate maker, Margaret Inoue, she crafts bean-to-bar chocolate that reflects her values as well as her own explorations of culture, nutrition and the local food. To honour the work of the farmers, Margaret takes care in the roasting and processing of the beans into chocolate, trying to bring out the unique flavour characteristics of the beans. When adding additional ingredients, she focuses on transparent sourcing for the best ingredients, local and organic where possible. Cocoaro Craft Chocolate is small and exploratory, constantly exploring new and seasonal flavours. All the chocolate is free of nuts, dairy, soy, and gluten. Some of the chocolate is free of sugar. All of the chocolate is full of heart.
