Founded in 2003, the Vancouver Kyudo Club, a BC not-for-profit and member of the Kyudo Association of Canada/International Kyudo Federation, practises ANKF/IKYF Kyudo, the Japanese art of archery. This discipline trains body, mind, and spirit through shooting principles (Shaho), art (Shagi), formal movements (Taihai), etiquette (Rei), skill (Shakaku), and dignity (Shahin), striving for human perfection.
