Sakura Days Japan Fair
VOLUNTEER

”Sakura Days Japan Fair” is held during the beautiful cherry blossom season to introduce Japanese culture, cuisine, and business to the people of Canada. We are looking for volunteer staff to help make this event a success. Anyone interested in event operations and Japanese culture—regardless of nationality, age, or gender—is welcome to apply.
We’re excited to announce that we’re moving to a new volunteer management platform, Better Impact, to help streamline our scheduling, communication, and support for all of you who make our work possible.
Creating your profile on Better Impact will allow you to:
- Sign up for shifts easily
- View which shifts are open or full
- Swap shifts when needed
- Log your volunteer hours
- Share your dietary restrictions, role preferences, and more
This new platform will help us get to know you better and match you with the roles that suit you best. It also gives you a clearer view of upcoming opportunities and your overall impact as a volunteer. We are recruiting our volunteers with our partner Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival.
👉 To get started, simply click here.
- You will be prompted to log in to your existing Better Impact Profile (if you have a profile with other organizations) or create an account
- Fill out the Cherry Blossom Festival Application form
If you have any questions or run into any issues while setting up your profile, feel free to reach out to us at volunteers@vcbf.ca.
